This policy describes what information PaperForge (operated by Sharmin Akthar Tuli) collects and how it's used.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your email address and, if you sign in with Google, basic profile information. We store your account ID, credit balance, and subscription tier in our database.

When you generate an exam, we store the exam content (questions, subject, grade level) if you choose to save it, so you can access it later from your account.

2. How we use it

We use this information to operate your account, process payments, provide customer support, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-party services

We use Clerk for authentication, MongoDB Atlas for data storage, Paddle for payment processing, and Groq for AI-based exam generation. Each of these providers processes data according to their own privacy policies.

4. Data retention

We retain your account and saved exam data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
